It's 3/8" thick and doesn't wobble or move any more than the OEM blocker. It took me about an hour but I'm methodical whenever I do anything to be sure I don't break clips or scratch anything. Remove the OEM blocker, drill a small hole in the outside edge of the driver side mounting hole, fish the wiring down with a coat hanger, ground one wire on a bolt behind the cubby, run the positive wire through the wiring tunnel on the driver's side door sill, crimp the wire onto the fuse tap and plug it into the driver's side fuse box. The kit came with the wind deflector, a pre-assembled fuse tap, a small bottle of cleaner with microfiber cloth, 2 white fabric gloves to use when installing to avoid fingerprints, printed instructions with photos and 2 zip ties to tidy up the wiring when finished. I had been looking at this for some time and decided to pull the trigger. WindRestrictor had a 10% off sale with free shipping. There is an older thread but it has some outdated info in it and it seemed like a good idea to start this new one. I thought I would open a new thread on this product.
